DaimlerChrysler to hold sales event, makes delivery

DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North America (DCCBNA) will hold a Pre-Expansion Sales Event at its Service & Sales Center of Orlando located in Winter Garden, Fla., on Nov. 6, 2007.  

Motorcoach inventory must be cleared to make room for the expansion of the Service & Sales Center. Construction is set to begin shortly after the sales event to make room for DCCBNA’s enhanced parts and service operations.  

This one-day sales event will be an open house, with more than 30 pre-owned motorcoaches on display with special offers and pricing. DCCBNA will also be offering specials on various coach services, including oil changes and coach inspections. Complimentary lunch and refreshments will be provided, and several prize drawings will also take place.

In addition, Atlanta-based GCL Coaches LLC added a Setra S 417 motorcoach to its fleet, the operator’s second purchase of this model.  

Introduced to the North American market in 2003, the S 417 features a spacious interior cabin design and provides guests with a state-of-the-art audio system, which includes a CD/DVD player and five 15-inch monitors positioned throughout the cabin.  

The Setra S 417 also offers extended maintenance intervals, a multiplex electrical system with self diagnostics, and a low maintenance HVAC system.
