Kurt W. Krauss has been named chief projects officer for the U.S. Advisory Services group at  WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Krauss leads complex infrastructure and transportation projects for the firm’s U.S. Advisory Services practice, which provides strategic consulting services. He is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Krauss brings over 20 years of strategic and financial management experience, supporting the successful delivery of $14 billion of capital investments including projects such as the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, Intercounty Connector and I-95 Express Toll Lanes, as well as enterprise-wide capital programs for agencies such as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and Maryland Transportation Authority.

He has developed strategic assessments and management tools for infrastructure and enterprise-wide programs for both public- and private-sector clients, including institutional investors.

Krauss comes to WSP | PB from KPMG LLP, where he served as a managing director. Prior to KPMG, he was a VP in the Washington, D.C. office of WSP | PB, responsible for managing strategic consulting operations and directing advisory business lines.
