National motorcoach magazine “Byways,” declared that Pennsylvania has the most popular destinations in the country.

Since 1983, the magazine has produced an annual ranking of top destinations. Pennsylvania cities named in the magazine's "Top 50 Motorcoach Destinations of the Past 25 Years" list include Philadelphia, Hershey, Gettysburg, Pittsburgh and Valley Forge.

Pennsylvania is the fourth-most-visited state in the country, with approximately 138 million visitors annually. The total impact of travelers' spending on the state economy is approximately $27 billion a year, while tourism is responsible for nearly 600,000 jobs.

The bi-monthly “Byways” magazine is published by the National Motorcoach Network and reaches more than 5,000 motorcoach charter and tour planners.
