Posted on September 4, 2018

GALLUP, N.M. — At least eight people including the driver of the bus died after a Greyhound and tractor-trailer collided in New Mexico last week, reports CBS News.

The driver of the truck, who survived the head-on crash, was hauling produce from California to Tennessee when his semi blew a tire and the vehicle “just locked up," according to the report.

The Greyhound bus, en route to Los Angeles from St. Louis, was in the west-bound lane of Interstate 40 near Thoreau, N.M. The semi weighing over 70,000 pounds crossed the median and slammed into it head-first. For the full story, click here.
