Report: Improving transit boosts rural communities

Reconnecting America and the Community Transportation Association of America’s "Putting Transit to Work in Main Street America," found that smaller communities are making a wide variety of transit investments, and these investments have had a positive impact on both the economy and the quality of life of residents.

U. of Wyoming recognized for environmental efforts

Cited for efforts to increase energy efficiency across campus; provide alternative transportation options such as shuttle service and a bike loan program to reduce the number of cars on campus; and require all new construction and major renovations to seek LEED certification.
