Champion's FlexBus to be tested for usability

The study, organized and conducted by the Dallas Smith Corp. and the Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access at the University of Buffalo, is part of a five-year project to evaluate current bus models and recommend improvements for future designs.

DCTA adds 18 buses to U. of North Texas routes

Costing $3.6 million altogether, the buses have a life expectancy of 10 years and are able to carry three bikes in comparison to current buses which can fit only two. An increasing number of students are using a combination of bikes and the buses on campus.

Florida's StarMetro adds 14 paratransit buses

A grant from the FTA paid for the complete replacement of the 14 buses at a cost of approximately $1.02 million.
