A collision between a car driven by an alleged drunk driver and a bus that killed four people standing at a nearby bus stop sparked riders’ concern for their safety as they wait at stops. The bench at the bus stop where the crash took place sat only steps from the curb.

The fire department says there were no life-threatening injuries reported. Authorities will examine video footage to determine who is at fault.

The transit agency released video that shows the driver was not using a cellphone and was looking straight ahead at the time of the collision. The driver had a good safety record and more than 11 years of experience.

Ophadell Williams, the World Wide Travel driver in a bus accident that killed 15 people has been indicted on multiple counts of manslaughter.

A St. Louis-bound bus struck a concrete barrier and overturned on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and sent 14 people to the hospital. Both state police and Greyhound officials are continuing to investigate the accident.

In the most recent accident in Upstate New York, more than a dozen people were injured. Within the last two weeks, one person was killed and 30 were injured in a crash involving a bus and a tractor-trailer, and another collision led to the death of two people and injured dozens more.

An Amtrak train was traveling from Chicago to Emeryville, Calif., when it was stuck by a truck at about 11:25 a.m. PT on Friday. Numerous fatalities and multiple injuries have been reported.
