TTC rolls out subway navigation enhancements

Will apply already existing line numbers and color-coding to the four subway and rail lines, make greater use of pictograms and improve station entrance signage across the city.

Utah extends 2 rail lines, adopts color-coded names

The new Mid-Jordan and West Valley City TRAX extensions will begin passenger service on Sunday. The completion of the extensions ushers in a new color-coded name system for the various rail lines.

MARTA launches color-coded rail system

Under new system, main rail lines – and their deviating branches – will be identified by four primary colors. The changes will minimize confusion, especially for first-time customers and visitors from other cities.
