N.C. transit plan change ups flexibility

Orange County commissioners voted to remove a rule that would have allowed Orange County transit services to use up to 50% of funds for existing transit projects instead of for expanding new services. Will move forward with plans to expand bus service and build a light rail service.

Duke U. bus falls short of ridership goal

The Bull City Connector was launched last year to connect students to downtown Durham. Daily ridership is about 1,500, which is 500 less than the goal. Most riders appear to be locals and campus staff instead of students.

Charlotte Area Transit System taps Titan for bus, rail ads

Had not allowed advertising on its vehicles for over 10 years prior to this award so this is an exciting development in the Charlotte advertising market.
