OCTA Website details stimulus funded projects

The Orange County (Calif.) Transportation Authority (OCTA) launched a new Website that provides the public with the latest information on transportation projects funded by the American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The site contains specific information about each OCTA project, including how tax dollars are being used, the status of each project, and how many jobs will be preserved or created.

An interactive map allows residents to view projects in their immediate area. In addition, there’s a section where the public can provide comments, sign up to receive e-mail updates or follow projects on Twitter and Facebook.

To view the information, visit www.octa.net/stimulus.
