The San Bernardino (Calif.) Associated Governments (SANBAG) has selected the consulting team of Innovative Paradigms to prepare a study of and make recommendations for the implementation of a Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) in the San Bernardino Valley area.

Under the terms of the contract, Innovative Paradigms will work with local stakeholders to identify the CTSA model that will be most effective in bringing public transit and social service agencies together to deliver enhanced transportation services. Local jurisdictions may implement CTSA activities using various models, which best meet the community's unique needs.

The contract with SANBAG is one of several coordinated transportation projects undertaken by Innovative Paradigms. Other projects are currently under way in Honolulu as well as California's San Joaquin and Santa Clara Countiesf.

Headquartered in Sacramento, Calif., Innovative Paradigms is the consulting and contract services division of Paratransit Inc., a provider of coordinated transportation planning and management. Paratransit Inc. served as the model for Assembly Bill 120 and was the first CTSA designated in California nearly 30 years ago.
