San Jose, Calif. to invest in pod cars



WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — On Tuesday, San Jose, Calif. Mayor Chuck Reed will meet with dozens of transit planners from the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world, hoping to guide San Jose to becoming the fifth city worldwide to invest in a pod car system. The Valley Transportation Authority has set aside $4 million to begin feasibility studies of such a system, according to the Contra Costa Times. For the full story, click here.
