Driver involved in Utah motorcoach crash faces charges

SALT LAKE CITY — The driver involved in a bus crash last August, which left three people dead and 11 more injured, was arrested Tuesday after it was found that he had trace amounts of an intoxicant in his blood, according to an Associated Press report.

In addition to the felony charge for driving while intoxicated, the driver, Yasushi Mikuni, also faces 10 other felony charges of operating a vehicle negligently causing death or injury and is also being held on logbook and lane-change violations, both misdemeanors.

The accident occurred when the bus rolled over while en route from Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park. For the full story, click here.
