Former T rail operator pleads guilty in 2009 crash

BOSTON — On Wednesday, Aiden Quinn, the former Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority rail operator, who said he was texting his girlfriend before his Green Line car smashed into another car in 2009, pleaded guilty to a charge of negligence by a person in control of a train, boston.com reports.

Quinn was sentenced to two years of probation and 100 hours of community service. The collision injured dozens and caused millions of dollars in damage. For the full story, click here.
