DriveCam, MV extend full-fleet contract

DriveCam Inc. and MV Transportation Inc. (MV) extended their full-fleet contract for three additional years. This renewal is a result of the ROI achieved, along with the program support DriveCam provides to help run a successful program for collision prevention and risk mitigation, according to DriveCam.

MV started installing DriveCam in its vehicles in 2004 under a self-review model. Since then, MV has moved its entire fleet of 5,000 vehicles to DriveCam's Managed Services Program.

"Our partnership with DriveCam has resulted in very positive results in the overall safety performance at MV," commented Kevin Klika, MV Transportation COO/President. "Since switching to DriveCam's Managed Services Program, our ROI has increased dramatically. As a result, we're happy to continue our relationship with DriveCam and expanding it by integrating DriveCam's Fleet Tracking Solution into our operational systems."

With video and audio, DriveCam continuously monitors risky driving behavior and provides real-time driver feedback. The data and exception-based video events are reviewed and systematically assessed for risk.
