Niagara Frontier transit cop cleared in spraying of protester

BUFFALO, N.Y. — According to a Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) review, Transit Police Officer Adam M. Brodsky followed proper procedure when he pepper-sprayed anti-war protester Nate Buckley on April 8 outside a downtown Buffalo bank, BuffaloNews.com reported.

An excerpt of video showing Buckley being sprayed from behind was widely viewed on YouTube and generated controversy. However, NFTA officials told BuffaloNews.com that a longer version of the video and a bank security video presented a more complete picture that justified Brodsky's use of pepper spray.
