Man who attacked Edmonton bus driver jailed indefinitely

EDMONTON, Alberta — An Edmonton man who attacked a city bus driver in 2009 was declared a dangerous offender and will remain in prison until it's determined he is no longer a risk to the public, according to CBC News.

The man pleaded guilty in May 2010 to aggravated assault for punching the driver in the face, pulling him off the bus and stomping his face 15 times during the morning rush hour on Dec. 3, 2009. The driver had tried to remove the man, who was intoxicated and refused to pay the $2.50 fare, from his city bus. For the full story, click here.
