Ricon, Prime Time donate van to homeless vets

Ricon Corp. and PrimeTime Specialty Vehicle Inc. recently donated a specially-equipped van to the Center for the Homeless in the South Bend, Ind. area.

On November 11 — Veteran's Day — the center will open a new adjacent facility to house and assist homeless veterans. The new van will be used to transport veterans to Fort Wayne VA hospitals, appointments at medical treatment centers, and local activities and events.

PrimeTime produces conversion and mobility vans, med-transit vans and specialty shuttles. Ricon designs and manufactures wheelchair lifts and passenger access ramps for vans, buses and passenger railcars. Ricon also manufactures windows for transit buses.
