Oregon agency, First Transit close to dial-a-ride, fixed-route contract

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. — The Yamhill County Transit Area and First Transit are close to finalizing a contract that would see the company assume county bus and dial-a-ride services in McMinnville and Newberg July 1, according to the News-Register.

Until now, the YCTA has split operational responsibilities between the Yamhill Community Action Partnership, based in McMinnville, and Chehalem Valley Transit, based in Newberg. For the full story, click here.
