DART paratransit driver fired after crash

DALLAS — The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) paratransit bus driver who crashed into several cars on the Dallas North Tollway last month was fired Monday, NBCDFW.com reported.

Veolia Transportation, DART's paratransit operator, fired the driver, who had a good safety record and more than 11 years of experience. The transit agency released video that shows the driver was not using a cellphone and was looking straight ahead at the time of the collision. For the full story, click here.
