Honolulu rail to create thousands of jobs

WAIANAE, Hawaii — Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) says that within two years there will be 4,000 people working on the its rail project, KFVE reported. Hundreds of people showed up looking for career opportunities at a job fair specifically for rail, featuring contractors such as Kiewit, Parsons Brinkerhoff and Ansaldo Honolulu JV.

In April there were 528 rail jobs created, and Dan Grabauskas, CEO, HART, told KFVE that right now there are 1,400 people working on the rail project. For the full story, click here.
