NEW YORK CITY — Ten New York MTA workers were charged with logging dozens of fake signal inspections between January 2009 and December 2010 in order to make it seem like they were being more productive than they were, according to a DNAinfo.com report.
Prosecutors said dummy barcodes were allegedly stashed in one of the MTA worker's lockers in order to fabricate inspections instead of being affixed to signal equipment.
