Cost of Calif. light rail extension draws critics

The Valley Transit Authority estimates an extra 430 daily boardings along the corridor if the Vasona Junction Station is completed in 2015 and 717 extra boardings by 2035 if the Hacienda Station and park and ride lots come to fruition. The project is estimated to cost $175 million. To read the full story, click here.
