Miss. U. expanded bus service gets favorable response

COLUMBUS, Miss. — Sources told The Dispatch that Mississippi State University’s Sportsplex Park and Ride program, a circular bus route to the Starkville Sportsplex, has run for one full semester and been a success.

A university transit services official said that as of Dec. 17, 9,358 people used the new Sportsplex route, translating to about 110 to 150 riders a day. The route is eliminating the need to build more parking structures on campus. For the full story, click here.
