Canadian coach operator considers seat belt installation

NEW BRUNSWICK, P.E.I. — Mike Cassidy, owner of Maritime Bus, is considering the installation of seatbelts on his buses following an accident on Sunday in which a bus rolled over, reported CBC News.

The bus was blown off the road in Travellers Rest, P.E.I., injuring several passengers. Cassidy is concerned, however, that seat belts might become a hindrance in the event of a bus fire. To read the full story, click here.
