Green Alternative Systems marked another milestone with the unveiling of a CNG-fueled shuttle bus converted exclusively for ARBOC Specialty Vehicles.

The Spirit of Mobility low-floor shuttle bus will be showcased in the ARBOC booth at the 2013 APTA Conference in Indianapolis, May 5 to 8.

Built on a GM 3500 & 4500 chassis with a 6.0-liter, Vortec V8 engine and a 54 GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent) CNG fueling system, the ARBOC Specialty Vehicles shuttle bus has completed Federal Transit Administration’s New Model Bus Testing Program (Altoona Testing) and is certified for sale in all 50 states by the California Air Resources Board and Environmental Protection Agency.
