HOMER, Alaska — The addition of a new accessible minivan has helped the Central Area Rural Transit System provide accessible lower-cost transportation to the general public of Homer via a new program that partners with cab companies to provide transportation, according to a Homer News report.
The van, the first accessible vehicle to be used within the cab fleet, will be a part of a program providing rides for 50% of the usual cab fare. For the full story, click here.
