CARROLL COUNTY, Md. — The Baltimore Sun reported that the board of Carroll County Commissioners rejected a proposal to increase bus fare for Carroll Community College students.

Students using Carroll Area Transit System (CATS) to get to and from the college under the student transportation program would have seen increases anywhere from $50 to $217 a semester, depending on how often they use the bus and their proximity to the college. The increase was an attempt to reduce the amount of money it loses each semester from the program. For the full story, click here.
