More than 750 CTTransit workers voted earlier this month to reject a proposed 33-month contract created by CTTransit management. Workers primarily object to a requirement that they contribute to their health care premiums.
The ruling means that as much as $21 million more in insurance money will be available to pay claims, opening the door for civil litigation to proceed.
