Minority groups file Calif. HSR complaint

The group is asking U.S. transportation officials to freeze $3 billion in federal funds awarded to California, almost all of which is being saved for the start of construction in 2012, until minorities are no longer "left out" of the contracting process.

Tempe streetcar receives regional approval

In addition to streetcar, a study calls for a BRT line on Rural Road, connecting the cities of Tempe and Chandler. Streetcar will advance first as local funding is available from Proposition 400, a countywide, half-cent transportation sales tax renewed by voters in 2004.

OCTA advances more than $525M in projects

Denver RTD re-ups with First Transit

With this contract renewal, First Transit will continue its strong relationship with the RTD, operating and managing the district's 68-transit buses. The contract renewal extends their current relationship for an additional five years.
