INIT awarded contract with TriMet

In a two-and-a-half-year, $35 million contract, INIT will provide an advanced CAD/AVL system including on-board computers, mobile data terminals and an automatic passenger counting system. The contract covers 660 fixed route vehicles, 350 paratransit and 117 light rail vehicles.

N.Y. MTA unanimously approves 2010 budget

The board also authorized the MTA to schedule public hearings regarding some of the service changes included in the budget. The budget does not include a fare increase in 2010, adhering to the schedule identified with the Legislature in the spring.
