Bombardier Transportation received two signaling orders from Madrid Metro, with a total value of $135 million. The contract includes the supply, installation, testing and maintenance of its Cityflo 450 communication-based automatic train control system, which will cover a total of 25 miles and 54 stations. Also included is the onboard equipment for the 117 trains that will operate on both lines of the project. The two-phase project is scheduled for completion in 2007.
