Duos Technologies wins railroad contract

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Duos Technologies was awarded a contract of more than $500,000 by a leading rail carrier to secure a key rail yard in the western U.S.

The security system is designed to function as an intrusion detector to identify a perimeter breach, assess threat risk and promptly alert security personnel. Authorized rail security personnel can view both real-time, streaming video and video archives, both locally and over a network.  

Duos Technologies Inc. provides a range of technology solutions with an emphasis on Homeland Security. Its systems are based on its proprietary object detection and behavioral analysis software, managed by the company’s multi-layer control platform.
