ASU students, Metro form LR awareness pilot

TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State University students who want to get acquainted with the Metro light rail system will be able to get help through a pilot program developed by the Parking and Transit Services office and the transit system, according to a State Press report. The student transit ambassadors program, which will run for the next three weeks at three light rail stations on ASU's Tempe and downtown campuses, will help promote safety regulations and provide assistance to students who have additional questions.
