NEC privatization plan lacks details about trackage fees

TRENTON, N.J. — Proposed legislation to privatize the Northeast Corridor, which would transfer control of the rail line from Amtrak and award it to the highest bidder, concerns experts and advocates who feel it doesn't offer details on protection for New Jersey Transit and its sister commuter lines, reported the Daily Record.
