Va. Gov.: $300M for Dulles endangers 40 projects

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell’s administration says that more than 40 transportation projects across Virginia would be endangered if the Virginia state legislature accedes to Democrats’ demands for $300 million more for the Dulles rail project, according to The Washington Times.

Democrats have threatened to block a two-year, $85 billion budget proposal for a third time if additional money isn’t added for Metro’s expansion to Washington Dulles International Airport. For the full story, click here.
