Northern Calif. college to use student IDs for bus passes

REDDING, Calif. — Shasta College and the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) plan to launch a trial bus pass program using student identification cards, reports. The plan will cover the coming spring semester as a test run. Students buying an ID card will be able to ride RABA buses on any of the fixed routes in the system free for the semester.
