TOPEKA, Kan. — The Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority board of directors is considering returning paratransit services to the 38 people who were cut for $15 a ride, as opposed to the $4 paratransit riders had previously been charged, cjonline.com reported.
In November, Metro reduced the service area to within three-fourths of a mile from the city limits per Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, which cut approximately 77 people from the 1,892 eligible for the service. For the full story, click here.
