SAN FRANCISCO — In an effort to curb the Municipal Transportation Agency's (Muni) labor costs, a San Francisco supervisor submitted a proposed initiative for the November ballot on Monday directed towards Muni driver's salaries — the second highest-paid to transit operators in the nation, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The initiative aims at eliminating a trust fund for the operators and making benefits and salaries a part of contract negotiations.
