URS Corp. was selected by the San Francisco Transbay Joint Powers Authority to provide program management services for the new $2 billion San Francisco Multimodal Transbay Terminal Project in the downtown area.
The initial term of the agreement is three years, with options to extend the agreement for two additional three-year terms.
The contract has a ceiling value of $37.6 million over the initial three years.
The project, which will replace the existing terminal with a new facility on the same site, also will expand bus and rail services in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Caltrain, a commuter rail service between San Jose and San Francisco, will arrive at the new terminal station approximately two levels below street level.
