LEWISVILLE, Texas — The Denton Record-Chronicle is reporting that Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) President Jim Cline has left the agency.
Cline assumed the post in March 2010, after serving as the public works director in Irving, where he worked on Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s light rail line through that city. He also recently retired from the Texas Army National Guard, achieving the rank of lieutenant colonel and earning a Bronze Star.
“The DCTA Board of Directors is currently having discussions about a potential change in leadership. At this time, the board has not taken any action on a potential change in leadership,” said Dianne Costa, DCTA board secretary and City of Highland Village representative, in a statement provided by the agency.
The Record-Chronicle reported that the reason for Cline’s departure are currently unknown. For the full story, click here.
