BOULDER, Colo. — Local business leaders will meet with the city's transportation department next month to discuss the idea of using an aerial gondola to link downtown Boulder to University Hill, a historic neighborhood near the University of Colorado, the Daily Camera reported.

The idea was originally floated in 2009 by University officials, but the proposal was killed early on due to concerns with "engineering challenges," the report said.

Another concern with the earlier project was that there wouldn't be a constant flow of riders, but it is being revisited now as major construction is slated for the area, which includes a plan for two hotels and a conference center, according to the Daily Camera. For the full story, click here.
