Hort Joins Transdev as Director of Labor Relations

Transdev announced that Tim Hort has recently joined their legal team as their director of labor relations. 

Hort is an experienced labor and employee relations professional with more than 25 years of broad-based experience in developing and maintaining constructive working relationships with employees, managers, and union leaders in a variety of industries, including transportation.

Hort's prior transportation experience includes corporate labor relations manager with the former Santa Fe Railway (BNSF), assistant director with the Belt Railway Company of Chicago, chief spokesperson with each of CN’s U.S. rail and shipping companies in engineering, and as department head for labor relations at Metra. 

Hort has also spent several years in the classroom as associate lecturer for the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee for the graduate and doctoral programs in labor relations, economics and human resources, and for North Park University in Chicago.
