Under “Ride with Respect,” prohibited activities include solicitation; selling goods or services; loud music; spitting; littering; eating on transit vehicles; and fighting. The agency is also increasing its police presence, adding security cameras to vehicles and made available to customers an app to report problems.

Commuter lots on the periphery of the campus are served by the Crimson Ride transit system, which has played a crucial element of parking efficiency. Parking spaces in some lots are oversold to ensure efficient use of the university’s parking spots, campus parking officials said.
In response to a spike in demand for campus transportation, Youngstown State University expanded its shuttle service and distributed more parking passes. The university is covering the costs of these services with a new transportation fee, which includes a parking permit and unlimited access to the shuttle.
Last spring, residents demanded access to the shuttles. In return, they agreed to support Harvard’s plan to relocate campus service facilities in Allston.
The new bus is part of the university’s Safe Ride Home program. It will be able to carry 13 riders at a time, more than double the number of riders that the program’s minivans can carry.
Production, sales and product development of the MV-1 is expected to resume in approximately 45 days under a new company name, Mobility Ventures LLC.
