AECOM wins Minn. light rail contract

The firm will provide preliminary engineering services for the western half of a 15.8-mile corridor that includes 17 new stations that will operate from downtown Minneapolis through several southwestern suburban cities.

Coach Canada threatens student bus service

Asked the Ontario Highway Transport Board to order the Queen’s University student-run “Kingston Rocket” to stop operating. Also wants the board to cancel the operating license of the company hired to provide buses and drivers for the service and for the students to pay full costs.

Greyhound expands service to Canada’s Western U.

Starting Jan. 11, Greyhound Express will run a route that provides two daily trips from Western University to Toronto. This announcement comes two months after Greyhound expanded the popular service from Toronto to London, Windsor, Ann Arbor, Mich., Detroit and Chicago.

Pittsburgh rail co. may manage Princeton train

Railroad Development Corp. and NJ Transit still need to meet to discuss details, officials said. The future of the rail line has been a subject of contention ever since Princeton University announced a plan to move the terminus of the train line.
