The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is expected to reopen the Exchange Place PATH commuter rail station in Jersey City, N.J., in June 2003. Exchange Place, along with the World Trade Center station, sustained heavy damage from the Sept. 11 attacks and service was cut off to thousands of commuters. The Port Authority plans to start controlled blasts in the Jersey City tunnels as soon as May 6, officials said.
