Also signed other agreements across the transit markets, including the construction of new stations and extended maintenance and fueling contracts.
Over the next five years, JTA will replace 100 diesel buses with CNG buses. Many of the buses will support JTA’s 55-mile First Coast Flyer bus rapid transit system.
The deal, valued at $8.1 million, will also include facility modifications to accommodate the conversion of JTA’s buses from diesel to CNG.
