A total of 54 New Flyer buses were approved for purchase as a part of Capital Metro’s bus replacement strategy to maintain a state of good repair. The buses cost a total of $23.3 million.

Cap Metro launches hydrogen hybrid bus pilot program

The bus will be fueled daily at a state-of-the-art hydrogen fueling station, the first of its kind in Texas. The facility allows for the on site generation, compression, storage and dispensing of hydrogen.
