A continuing shortage of bus drivers has forced EZ-RIDER, the public transportation provider in Midland and Odessa, Texas, to partner with a local taxi company to provide service to its paratransit riders.
The system for CTA includes a comprehensive workforce management solution with employee self-service options to support nearly 8,000 employees across more than 18 garages, terminals and facilities. The system is extended with a centralized business intelligence tool to improve visibility and reporting across CTA's operations.
Agency would pay bills before checking to see if it could cover the expenses, sources say.
The Shepherd Parkway Metrobus Division sits on 16 acres of land with space for up to 250 buses. Initially, it will house 114 Metrobuses that operate on 50 routes mainly in Southeast and Southwest Washington, D.C., providing better service for thousands of customers.
