City asks Okla. transit to shrink bus coverage

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa city councilors asked Tulsa Transit officials to prepare a plan for review that would shrink the bus system’s coverage area to provide more timely service at the current funding level, Tulsa World reported.

Tulsa’s system has an average wait time of 55 minutes between buses, sparse service on Saturdays and no service on Sundays. For the full story, click here.
